STRENGTHS: Ayton has a NBA body today. He has a star quality that only the greats possess. Franchise changing talent. Understands that he is a big. Does not let smaller players off the hook by shooting jump shots. Can use both hands around the basket. Finishes above the basket. Plays big 100% of the time. Runs the floor extremely well. Can catch the ball on the move without traveling. Very soft touch out to the three point line. Good form on his jump shot. As he ages should become a better shooter. Can play out of the pick & roll. Reads situations & generally makes the right decision. Moves his feet well against guards. Blocks shots on and off the ball. At the highest level, he should be a great rim protector. Can sit down & guard 1-3 in short stretches, 4-5 all day. It has been very difficult for offensive players to score on him one on one up to this point. Extremely tough amazing talent. Has a lot of pride. Wants to be great. Doesn’t seem to be the kid that playing just to get to the NBA and make money.
