PLAYER RANGE: NBA Contributor - NBA All-Star

PLAYER COMPARISON: Mikal Bridges
UNDENIABLE SKILL: Defensive versatility
STRENGTHS: Watson is a very versatile wing with great positional size. He’s a jack of all trades but a master of none. He plays really hard, he uses his length and athleticism to make plays defensively. He slides his feet very well in space and he can offer rim protection from the weak side. Excels in transition where he can get out and run. Even when Watson gets beat he’s never really out of a play as he utilizes his quick reaction abilities, athleticism and length to make a play on the ball. Watson also does a good job at serving as a connector type player that create scoring opportunities for teammates.
CONCERNS: Watson is raw. His jumpshot is still a work in progress. How well he gains confidence in his offensive abilities will determine how high his ceiling will be.

The No. 1 player in California, Peyton Watson (@peytonfromlb) hasn’t played a competitive game since March 2020, but he has been working. #1600Atlantic @LBPolyHoop @chriswatsonnnn
