STRENGTHS: Sochan is a big, versatile wing/forward that offers a ton of value on the basketball court. What most notably stands out is his ability to play great positional defense. He offers extreme defensive versatility by possessing the ability to switch 1 through 4 and some small ball 5. He does a solid job of staying in front and contesting shots on the release. Sochan rebounds well inside and outside of his area. Sochan has also illustrated the ability to grab rebounds and push in transition and create assists on the break as a facilitator. Sochan plays hard and finishes plays at the basket. Sochan is a jack of all trades.
CONCERNS: Sochan isn’t going to impress people with his athleticism. Finishing over NBA size and athleticism may be a bit of a challenge. His jumpshot is a bit wonky and has to continue to be polished. Sochan has a bit of a reputation as a dirty player.
