Mitchell & Ness build two tiers of short and the difference is not cosmetic. Swingman is the replica — lighter fabric, screen-printed detail, cut for the street. Authentic is the on-court spec: heavier body, tackle-twill lettering stitched rather than printed, full side panels, and the long, generous cut the league actually wore.

This is the 1998-99 Orlando Magic in white — pinstripe-era Magic, blue and black trim down the side, the NBA logoman on the leg. The season Penny’s last full year in Orlando ran out.
