Mac McClung made history at the 2025 NBA Slam Dunk Contest in San Francisco by winning the award three times in a row, becoming the second person to achieved the feat. Nate Robison is the other player to achieve the feat. Representing the Orlando Magic, McClung delivered a flawless performance, earning perfect scores of 50 on all four of his dunks. McClung has been a showman since high school where he dominated the hoop scene in West Virginia by jumping over people and executing 720’s.
Although McClung’s dominance has been great but some would like to see NBA stars participate and win the Dunk Contest. Ja Morant and Giannis Antetokounmpo have expressed interest in participating in the competition after watching McClung’s performances.
