STRENGTHS: Armstrong is a phenomenal passer of the basketball. His court vision and ability to make pin point, on timed high level passes are noteworthy. Armstrong shows great poise operating in traffic and crowded spaces with patience and pace to get the best shot for himself but mainly his teammates. He can command an offense creating higher percentage shots for his team with relative high frequency. At 6’5″, Armstrong offers great positional size which helps him see over defenses.
CONCERNS: Armstrong is all craft. He’s not a dynamic athlete and must solely rely on nuance to get by defenders. Armstrong may have a difficult time guarding quicker, shiftier players on the pro level. Armstrong isn’t much of a volume scorer and need to continue to refine his jumpshot to be a more dynamic threat offensively.
