STRENGTHS: Cook is a tough, gritty point guard that excels at creating and making his own shot. Cook is an exceptional shooter from distance and shows touch and craft finishing in the paint with the trees. Cook uses his low center of gravity and speed to get by defenders and cause the defense to collapse. Defensively, he routinely uses his quick hands to pry balls away from ball handlers. Cook also has a thick chest and low center of gravity that helps him wall ball handlers off.
CONCERNS: Cook’s stature could be a liability attempting to creating scoring opportunities against taller, longer defenders. Cook is more of a scoring point guard than one that distributes.
